CIA informer Colonel Nicolás Carranza has died at 84, after having left El Salvador for the United States in 1985. In 2005 some of his Salvadoran victims filed charged against him. He was ultimately found guilty of both supervising and ordering crimes against humanity, extrajudicial killings and torture.
